Facilitation Skills Webinar/Massachusetts Collaborative Law Council

  • 12 Dec 2018
  • 2:00 PM - 3:30 PM
  • Online Webinar

As Collaborative Professionals, we all have a role in effectively facilitating joint meetings, yet many of us have never been trained in the art of facilitation. Acquiring facilitation skills increases the Collaborative Team’s ability to plan and effectively participate in joint meetings, help clients navigate the decision-making process, and manage conflict in the moment. This webinar, the first in a two-part series, December 12th 2:00 to 3:30pm and January 30th 2:00 to 3:30pm, will introduce you to the concepts of facilitation and their application in the Collaborative Process. Part Two will focus on applying theory to practice.

Rachel B. Goldman specializes in mediation, conflict resolution consulting, settlement negotiation, and collaborative family law. She recently moved from Boston to Los Angeles, where she provides mediation and conflict resolution consulting services, including individual and group conflict coaching, design and facilitation of small and large group dialogues, team-building, and organizational strategic support. In addition, she continues to maintain her mediation and collaborative family law practice in Massachusetts, serving as of counsel with Clapp Family Law LLC in Wellesley, Massachusetts. In addition to her law and conflict resolution practice, Rachel frequently teaches and presents to professional groups, law students, college students, and the public about divorce law, collaborative practice, mediation, negotiation, and conflict resolution.

Attorney Rita S. Pollack is a collaborative lawyer, mediator and facilitator who lives in Tucson, AZ. She was the co-founder and first President of MCLC and President of the International Academy of Collaborative Presidents (IACP). Rita has taught basic and advanced workshops throughout the United States and Canada, in Australia, New Zealand, Israel and Europe, promoting excellence in collaborative skills. With Cathy Heenan, she co-created the DVD series, Collaborative Practice in Action, showing real work done in real time with real people.

Both webinars are available for one price, $79. For more information and registration, click here.
