Basic Mediation Workshop/Champlain College

Champlain College's basic mediation workshop is ideal for professionals who are often confronted with the challenge of managing conflict. Whether you work in legal services, human resources, education, counseling or business management, mediation experience can help you to be a stronger professional and more attractive candidate.

During this three-and-a-half-day workshop, March 20–23, you'll learn and practice skills in identifying and framing issues, listening for interests and guiding the process. These skills will give you a tool set to work from and empower you to approach conflict with confidence.

This workshop has been approved by the Vermont Board of Mandatory Continuing Legal Education for 26.25 hours, and by the VT Secretary of State for 8 hours of Continuing Education for Real Estate professionals. The Basic Mediation workshop is equivalent to 2.8 Continuing Education Units (CEUs). This workshop may be eligible for Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) re-certification credits.
